Keauhou Shopping Center

An open-air shopping center, which offers more than 40 shops and restaurants as well as a state-of-the-art multiplex movie theater. Among the items you’ll find here are the latest fashion apparel, swimwear, specialty shops, convenience stores and more. Free entertainment and cultural demonstrations (including ukulele lessons and lei making classes) are held at the shopping center every Friday. Keauhou Shopping Center is open 7 a.m. – Midnight. Queen’s MarketPlace & King’s Shops

Two colorful shopping centers are fun to meander and explore the collection of boutique shops and Hawaii art galleries, jewelry stores, a gourmet market and more. Plus, experience free Hawaiian music and hula, lei-making and other crafts, live entertainment and a weekly farmers market to enjoy. Shop for aloha shirts, swimsuits and surf wear, gifts, chocolates, Kona coffee and local food to take home and share. Prince Kuhio Plaza

In Hilo, locals and visitors alike flock to the largest enclosed shopping center on the Big Island. The plaza has many of the familiar names—such as Macy’s, Sears, Famous Footware, Spencer’s and much more. There is also a nice selection of Hawaiian-themed shops. It’s a great place to pick up some souvenirs or treats to bring home. And if you’re in the mood for a movie, the plaza has a nine-screen multiplex theater.
