The dramatic entry drive to the Mauna Lani Resort builds excitement – and expectations – that something grand is about to happen. Left and right are manicured fairways and swaying palms casting long shadows. At the very end of this drive, past a lively amenity center and bespoke villas, you arrive at beautiful vacation residences. The exclamation point has been struck – blue and foamy white waves crashing against black lava cliffs fringed by the impossibly green 36 holes that is Mauna Lani golf.
