Food Truck Friday at Old Kona Airport

Food Truck Friday is a welcoming community event featuring approximately 20 local food trucks and vendors, now held at the south runway of Old Kona Airport Park. The event takes place every other Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, offering a diverse array of cuisine—from barbecue and pizza to Thai, Mexican, and island favorites—as well as desserts and beverages. Originally held at the Target Kona parking lot, Food Truck Friday moved locations in July 2025 to ensure a safer and more accessible experience for families, vendors, and visitors. The event fosters community connection while providing essential support for local food businesses, and often features live entertainment, making it a lively destination for both residents and visitors.
