The Waimea Town Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 7:30 am to noon in front of Parker School at 65-1224 Lindsey Road, right in the heart of Waimea. Renowned as the region’s largest and most diverse market, it features over 50 vendors offering a prolific range of locally grown produce, Big Island–grown coffee and tea, farm-fresh meats and cheeses, fresh-baked breads, pastries, flowers, tropical plants, and handmade artisan wares. Marketgoers can enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere with live music, enjoy breakfast or lunch at picnic tables with scenic Mauna Kea views, and connect with local farmers, craftspeople, and food entrepreneurs. Specialty booths often offer everything from chocolates and sea salts to handcrafted soaps and wool goods, making the market a hub for authentic, locally produced foods and gifts.
