Getting Here
Mauna Lani Point is located along the Kohala Coast on the Island of Hawaii, approximately 30 minutes from Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole (KOA). Rental cars are recommended for exploring the island, and taxis and rideshare services are also available from the airport.
Turo Rental Car Pickup: If you are renting through Turo, check the Turo app for your vehicle's assigned pickup location and instructions upon arrival.
Go Rentals: Skip the traditional rental car line and start your island vacation with personalized service. Through our partnership with Go Rentals, guests can choose from a curated selection of vehicles and enjoy a more seamless arrival experience.

Your Vacation Home
Our spacious residences allow you to vacation at your own pace with private lanais, fully equipped kitchens, and room for the entire family in your secluded hideaway along the Kohala Coast.
Guest Services/Concierge | 8:00AM – 5:00PM Daily
Our guest services staff offers knowledgeable advice, great rates, and reservations for all Island of Hawaii activities from luaus and dinner cruises to bicycle adventures and helicopter tours. Or, review a full list of Big Island activities we enjoy special rates for. We are also happy to arrange dinner and babysitting services. Guests are encouraged to reach out via our convenient texting service at 808-400-7169 or by phone to coordinate these services rather than coming in to the office.
Housekeeping
Before you arrive, our team of in-house professionals will clean your residence using industry leading techniques, tools, and products. If you need anything during your stay such as additional towels or trash removal, we have you covered! For stays seven nights or more, we will provide a mid-stay housekeeping service on your fourth day which ensures that your residence is returned to its pristine and flawlessly arranged state for extended comfort while on vacation.
Pool, Sauna, Pavilion and Grilling Area | Open 8:00AM to 9:00PM Daily
Our private pool, whirlpool spa, heated sauna, and pool pavilion is reserved exclusively for guests staying with us at Mauna Lani Point.
Grocery Services
Skip the line at the grocery store and order your groceries ahead of time. Use Instacart to have groceries delivered directly to your vacation rental in Mauna Lani, or pick up groceries and island essentials nearby at The Shops at Mauna Lani.
Need Baby Equipment?
Travel lighter by leaving the bulky baby gear at home. Through our partnership with BabyQuip, you can rent essentials including pack and plays, car seats, strollers, toys and more, with convenient delivery available before your arrival.
What to Pack
- For Everyday/Casual: shorts, t-shirts, swimsuits, cover-ups, sandals, tennis shoes and a reusable water bottle.
- For Dining: Aloha wear is perfectly acceptable at fine dining restaurants and luaus. Consider khakis, an aloha shirt, a muumuu or a sundress.
- For Sun Protection: a hat, sunglasses and reef-safe sunscreen.
- For Hiking or Visiting Higher Elevations: temperatures can be much cooler around Waimea, Mauna Kea and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Pack a windbreaker or warm jacket, sturdy hiking shoes and long pants.
